Method:
  • Add the Stage 1 ingredients to a small stainless steel bowl and place on a saucepan of boiling water to heat until melted, then take off the heat and stir whilst it is cooling.
  • Combine all the Stage 2 ingredients and mix together. When the Stage 1 mix has cooled enough that it is just starting to firm up around the edges and go opaque, stir in the Stage 2 mixture and combine thoroughly. Keep stirring with a spatula whilst it cools a little more.
  • Whilst it is still pourable, pour into silicone moulds and leave to harden up. You can also put them in the 'fridge to set up. When they are solid, turn them out of the moulds and store in a dish or other decorative container.
  • As another option, this body bar can also be dropped into a bath where it will melt and disperse into the water making a milky coloured, nourishing bath. Lay back, relax and let your skin be pampered. No need to rinse off afterwards, but do take care when getting out of the bath as the surface may be slippery.
